Barbara Meikle was born in New Mexico in
1962 and spent a childhood and adolescence
absorbed in the delights of painting and drawing.
She attended the University of Denver, Colorado,
earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree in painting
and printmaking. Her education was completed
with watercolor and oil painting studies
at Cambridge University, England.
